Less Chips, More Salsa?

Today I made a delicious and healthy black bean salsa and instead of using regular tortilla chips for dipping I decided to try Food Should Taste Good’s all natural blue corn chips. I picked these up at whole foods and they are amazing!

When making fresh salsa I usually try to get a lot of salsa on the chip so I am taking in more salsa than I am chip but with these healthy chips you might as well eat up!

The ingredients are: organic blue corn, high oleic sunflower oil/and or safflower oil, oat fiber, brown rice flour, flax seeds, evaporated cane juice, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, quinoa, soy flour, and sea salt

My black bean salsa recipe is so easy! Just mix up all of the ingredients below:

1 can black beans- rinsed

1 large tomato- diced

1/2 cup red onion

1/2 cup cilantro

juice of 1 lime

* can also add corn or fresh avacado
